As I do for every book, I want to include a list of links and various articles that are related to my sixth book Goodbye, My Love. The novel was released by Ultimo Press with another wonderful cover by Mika Tabata and it has now been out in the world for three months. I am lucky to have five covers designed by Tabata and I like to check out her site to see what other covers she’s designed.
Goodbye, My Love is available both as an ebook and on audio narrated by Sulin Hasso.
This list will be updated when other things appear on my radar.
* Biting reflections on the dissolution of a marriage, a review by Seren Heyman-Griffiths in The Guardian
* Arab Australian novelist explores devastation of divorce in Goodbye, My Love, a review by Sumaiyya Naseem for Arab News.
Sumaiyya also made the video Meet Me in the Margins about Goodbye, My Love and I find her reviews very interesting and it was this one about Yasmin Zaher’s The Coin which led me to read this amazing book.
* The experiment of writing review by Bec Kavanagh in Australian Book Review that notes the experimentation of the novel.
* Most stories don’t start with goodbyes by Valerie Chidiac for Aniko Press. Chidiac notes the experimentation and also the subject of coercive control in the book. I was also interviewed back in 2024 by Valerie Chidiac for about Politica, the laureateship and various writing tangents for Honi Soit.
* Review in The Saturday Paper for Goodbye, My Love by Thuy On.
